April 14, 10am: Kid Flix: Best of the New York Children’s International Film Festival
Each year, NYICFF scours the globe for the best new short films for kids from around the world. Recommended for ages 3 and older.
April 14, 1pm: Liyana with co-directors Aaron and Amanda Kopp
This animated African tale is born in the imaginations of five orphaned children in Swaziland who collaborate to tell a story of perseverance drawn from their darkest memories and brightest dreams. Recommended for all ages.
April 16, 7pm: A River Below with Jacksonville-based executive producer Mike Erwin
A River Below captures the Amazon in all its complexity as it examines the actions of environmental activists using the media in an age where truth is a relative term.
