How did you get started in filmmaking?
I’m in a fourth grade class where they gave us the opportunity to make a film for the film festival.

Who inspired you to become a filmmaker?
My teacher actually nominated me to be the editor on the film, Dragons on Wheels.

If you were a superhero, what would your super filmmaking power be?
I could have whatever power I want (sand powers, fire powers, ice powers, etc.) for my film.

What is your go-to Karaoke tune?
I don’t have a favorite song at the moment and I’m really shy.

If you are attending #AIFF15, what are you looking forward to most in Ashland?
I’m a little shy about it, but I do look forward to seeing our film on a big screen.

How did you get started in filmmaking?
I got started in filmmaking at Ashland Middle School where as a student I got the opportunity to participate in a video class called WAMS. It was in WAMS that I fell in love with the process of directing, camerawork, and editing. Thank you to Ashland Schools for supporting the arts!

Who inspired you to become a filmmaker?
I had the pleasure of working with a professor at the University of Oregon named Tyrras Warren who pushed and inspired me to develop a critical eye for making moving pictures.

If you were a superhero, what would your super filmmaking power be?
If I had a filmmaking super power it would be the ability to hold my breath forever. I would like to get into underwater/ocean videography and I have a feeling that super power would come in handy.

What is your go-to Karaoke tune? (Be prepared to light up the mic at our Karaoke Party at Brickroom on Saturday, April 11!)
My Karaoke power house song is still being developed. As I love to sing I have yet to nail down just one tune to belt. Though I’ve been known to rock Zac Brown Band at cowboy Karaoke.

If you are attending #AIFF15, what are you looking forward to most in Ashland?
While attending AIFF15 I am most looking forward to sharing my film with Ashland friends and family who have supported me and encouraged my creative journey.
